Three Sisters Sanctuary - Where Nature and Art Are Joined

Thank you for checking out the Three Sisters Sanctuary website and your interest in the Sanctuary.  I’m Richard Richardson the owner and artist who designed and built the Sanctuary in honor of my daughters.

Endlessly fascinating, the Three Sisters Sanctuary is a must-see stop for any visitor to the Pioneer Valley. In fact, it is on the official state list of “1,000 Great Places in Massachusetts.” From the fanciful Dragon Fireplace to the Wishing Wheel Pergola, and from the spiritually calming Tina Marie Sanctuary, which honors the memory of environmental artist Richard Richardson’s eldest daughter, to the Dance of Life Path featuring two mammoth quartz stones weighing 22,000 pounds, Three Sisters Sanctuary pleases both the eye and the spirit.

The one-of-a-kind landscape at Three Sisters Sanctuary is beautiful, serene, inspiring and whimsical. With help from family and friends, Richard Richardson has turned his 8-acre backyard in Goshen, MA, into a picturesque, intriguing and constantly evolving setting that is enjoyed by art, nature and garden lovers alike.

Set among the beautiful foothills of Western Massachusetts and filled with plants, stonework and sculptures, Three Sisters Sanctuary is the perfect outdoor setting for corporate events, workshops, plays, concerts, and weddings. An amphitheater, made of famous Goshen stone, seats hundreds of guests, while other parts of the Sanctuary are perfect for smaller events. The Sanctuary is a lovely location for a wedding ceremony or to photograph the wedding party.

Consider renting the Three Sisters Sanctuary for a special event. The Sanctuary is available to rent for three hours to an entire weekend.  Prices vary depending on your needs and the duration of the event.
